Bourbon Apple Cider

Is there anything better on a cool and crisp day than sipping your favorite fall-inspired beverage? Here’s one of our favorites, give it a try and let us know what you think.

 

Ingredients:

  • 3 apples (red and green apples)

  • 3 cinnamon sticks

  • ½ gallon apple cider

  • 1 cup bourbon

 

Preparation

  1. Cube apples into about 1/2 inch cubes.

  2. Simmer apples, cider and cinnamon sticks on med/low heat for 10 – 15 minutes (apples should be slightly tender).

  3. Let cool.

  4. Add bourbon and stir well, store in the refrigerator at least 12 hours. Best if made at least a day in advance!
